Free Paper Sessions

Oral Communications

Presentations will be allocated 15 minutes each, to include discussion. These will be selected on the basis of the written abstracts. Those papers not selected for oral presentation will be required to be presented as posters.

Plenary Oral Session

There will be a Plenary Oral Session in which a selection of the highest ranking submitted oral abstracts will be presented.


A prize for the best presentation will be awarded by the Journal of Pathology at the Conference Dinner.

Poster Viewing and Poster Rounds

Official Poster Chairman will review the posters as shown in the Programme Summary. A drinks reception will also be held. It is requested that posters remain on display until TBA.

Publication of abstracts in the Journal of Pathology On-Line Supplement

The presenting author (or another author) must attend the meeting to present the poster during their allocated poster round in order for the abstract to be published in the Journal of Pathology On-line Supplement.

Slide Seminar Competition and Review Session


Digital slide images of all cases will be available for preview TBA and will be available on the website in advance of the meeting.

Unless otherwise instructed by the authors, all abstracts will be published in the Journal of Pathology On-line Supplement at the discretion of the Meetings Secretaries and the Editor. Presenters must register for the meeting in advance.
